Gland packing

We offer an extensive range of gland packing’s designed and constructed to minimise maintenance costs.

Our philosophy is to offer the most suitable packing, for each application, from a wide selection available, using the most advanced packing fibres, the highest quality braiding methods and the best lubrication process.

The packing fibres available come lubricated with a variety of greasy materials or the packing’s are made of inherently lubricated materials such as PTFE, or carbon fibre, often loosely braided materials contain fillers such as the silicone filler in braided PTFE packing.

Fillers, graphite grease and the other materials serve two functions in packing materials used serve two functions in packing materials.

• The grease provides a lubricant at the shaft / packing interface.
• The material acts as a filler to prevent leakage occurring through the interstices of the packing itself.

Industrial textiles are easily shaped and converted to full fill excellent sealing and shielding functions at temperatures up to and exceeding 1000ºC.

We are able to supply these insulation and protection products for harsh industrial conditions.
